New year of manufacture
Factory Reconditioned Machines can be equipped with various options corresponding to individual customer needs just as new machines as the reconditioning process only starts after receipt of order.
Every machine is dismantled after receipt and inspected in detail. Defective, worn, obsolete parts and all safety-related parts are replaced exclusively with original parts. Functioning machine parts are reconditioned. After reassembly, every machine is subjected to a trial run and receives an acceptance inspection. As they are in the same condition as a new machine after the general remanufacturing is completed, machines that receive a general remanufacturing from Seydelmann receive a new year of manufacture, including an updated guarantee.
Factory Reconditioned Seydelmann Machines fulfill all safety standards and hygienic requirements, just as new machines.
Differences compared to a new machine are mainly to be found in optical and functional executions. Although the price, compared to a new machine, is significantly lower.
Factory-reconditioned Cutters
After disassembly and inspection, the machine frame and main cover are reinforced, ground and polished. For a perfect dimensional accuracy and surface the cutter bowl is machined and fine-polished, the knife shaft arm is measured and if necessary bushed and milled out. Afterwards the knife shaft gets new bearings and seals.
Factory-reconditioned Grinders
In most cases Grinders get new worms and worm housings. Only if nearly no traces of usage are visible, the original worm and worm housing are assembled after reworking and thorough inspection.
Industrial Grinders are retrofitted with a safety frame on the hopper and an outlet hand guard which are mandatory nowadays
